10:30 Service: Keep YOUR Hand on the Plow!
Reverend Christopher Long, guest preacher for this service, writes: As we enter Black History Month (February), let’s share from our Unitarian and Universalist, and Unitarian Universalist heritage to continue to open our hearts to aspects of our story which are rarely told.  I hear you all like to sing and possibly move a bit in Rochester! “Come, Let’s Worship Together!”

10:30 Service: Wisdom From the World’s Religions
Happy Valentine’s Day! This service is the third in our series of services on the Six Sources of inspiration that Unitarian Universalists note as such.  The First Universalist choir will perform the third movement from the Sources Cantata titled “All Lifted Hearts”, composed by Jason Shelton.  Stay afterwards for a special luncheon hosted by the Board of Trustees!

10:30 Service: Where Do We Go When We Die: Stories from the Afterlife
Our First Universalist congregation has had a significant number of deaths of friends and members over the past few months.  Whether sudden or expected, the death of a loved one often calls us to be present and to make decisions when we are in the midst of our deepest grief.  We are faced with making important decisions quickly, and under times of great stress.  How do we prepare adequately for the common experience which we all face ultimately?
Join Reverend Hamlin and Worship Associate Bridget Watts for this service, and stay afterwards to pick up information on Advanced Care Planning, Living Wills, etc.
