It is a UU custom to have either a summer minister or no regularly scheduled summer services.

We were fortunate to have the Rev. Peter House return to us as our summer minister for 2008. Our summer 2008 services begin at 10 a.m. and run from June 29 to August 31st inclusive.

Peter is a 2000 graduate of Meadville/Lombard Theological School in Chicago, Illinois.

He has served the First Universalist Church of Rochester, the First Unitarian Church of Rochester and the First Unitarian
Congregation of Toronto, Ontario, Canada as a Summer Minister and as a ministerial intern. And he has served as a Hospital Chaplain at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago.

A full-time special education teacher, Peter works with severely emotionally disturbed and autistic children.

He lives with his partner Michael Hannen and several pets in Rochester.
