In my years spent at All Souls in northern Louisiana and First Unitarian Church of Houston, I was part in a variety of events that are connected to our UU principals including the trials of becoming a Welcoming Congregation, the after effects of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, being a progressive congregation in the Deep South and other adventures which left a lasting impression on me.
