The First Universalist Church of Rochester is pleased to make its building available to individuals and community organizations. Our historic building is a warm and inviting place to hold gatherings, such as:

Four spaces are available:

The Sanctuary, which seats 350 guests
-
The Clara Barton Lounge, which seats 100. An adjacent kitchen is available for an additional fee.

The Chalice Room, a cozy informal meeting room that seats up to 20 comfortably.

The Choir Room, an informal meeting room with hardback chairs that seats up to 20 comfortably.
Disability Accessibility & Inclusion

General Accessibility: We have accessible parking spaces in our church lot off of Court street. Access to the parking lot entrance, leading into the Clara Barton Lounge is ramped. We also have an elevator that goes from the kitchen to the sanctuary and the second floor of the church building.

Wheelchair-Accessibility: Most of our building is wheelchair-accessible. We currently have one wheelchair-accessible bathroom.

Hearing Impaired Accessibility: We have an induction hearing loop available in our sanctuary as well as headset receivers. Please ask an usher or a greeter if you would like one of these.

Parking Space Rental

We have a limited number of parking spaces available for rent during the week for $65 per month. Our parking lot is located on Court Street between Clinton Avenue and Chestnut Street, across from Innovation Square, and directly adjacent to the REOC!

Space at the First Universalist Church of Rochester may be rented by any group or function whose purpose, goals, ideals, or philosophy is consistent with the broad ideals of the Church.
​
Priority for events is determined on a first-come-first-served basis. To view calendar availability, please click here. Payment in full is required to reserve space.
